Buckaroos (Ages 6 - 8)

This program is an excellent introduction to resident camp for your 6 to 8 year old. If your camper has never been to camp before, you can rest assured that the Buckaroo program is right for them! With patient counselors and exciting activities, your Buckaroo will fall in love with our camp environment. Our youngest campers get lots of extra attention and are led to activities as a village by their cabin counselors.

Choose “A” for a three and a half day stay or add our “B” for the full 6-day session.

!!!Warning: Buckaroos that attend Session “A” have so much fun they usually want to stay the rest of the week!!!

During the Buckaroo program, you’ll have more fun packed into 3 days than you can have in an entire summer at home! From the Aqua Jump (a big water trampoline) to riding the waves on a tube, you will never be bored!

When your teacher asks, “What did you do this summer?” you can say:

The Buckaroo Village tuition is $450 for YMCA members and $465 for non-members. Unlike other camps, Camp Cosby does not charge an extra fee for such activities. Our children all get to participate in these activities for the regular tuition. While summer camp tuition is not cheap, as a YMCA we have a tradition of keeping our tuition at an affordable level … a level that will allow us to have an elite quality camp at a value price.
