Wanda McClain
Administrative Program Director/Summer Camp Registrar
wmcclain@campcosby.org
Wanda was born in Anniston, Alabama but was raised in
Southern California. Later in life she returned to Alabama
to live the “ways of the South.” For the past 19 years she
has lived in Lincoln, Alabama. Wanda lives on a 1,600 acre
farm with lots of cattle and numerous pets. At one time, her
family was the proud owner of approximately 37 to 40 dogs and cats.
This number varies greatly as her two children bring and
take animals home. Wanda has a daughter, Sabrina, who has
recently graduated from Mississippi State University and a
son, Eric, who attends Alabama Southern and is a member of
the Eagles baseball team.
She has been with Camp Cosby for 11 years and has hopes of
staying until she retires. As the Summer Camp Registrar,
Wanda enjoys making sure each and every parent feels secure
and comfortable with the decision to leave their most
treasured possession at Camp Cosby for a week.
