What we are known for
Hello from your Cosby Family, We wanted
to let you know that we are busy getting ready for camp and
thinking of your family. As you read this, we are in the
middle of hiring the best role model for your child. We
would like to share some changes and what you can expect
from us this summer; we are calling this our Cosby Promise.
Know that we think every child and family has the right to
experience each of these things at Camp Cosby.
As new Camp Cosby leadership, we would
like to share our personal focus. The Executive Director
and myself, along with the rest of the Cosby Family, are
focused completely on achieving the highest quality
experience for each camper. This focus is comprised of the
Cosby Promise

We promise to hire and train the
very best person to be your child’s counselor.

We
promise to strive so your child makes lifelong friends
and achieve new skills.

We promise that in our planning
that you and your goals are our top priority.

We promise to call you back within
an hour of your phone call.

We promise our goal is that your
child will have a positive, impactful, safe time.

We promise to work with you, in
these trying economic times, in any way we are able, so
you are able to give your child the experience of summer
camp.
To help achieve these goals, this
summer we are focusing more on our campers’ Cabin experience
and the friendships they will make. We are making changes
to our weekly schedule to allow this to happen; each child
will have more time to deepen friendships by participating
in cabin activities. In order for each child to have the
best experience possible, our counselors are going through a
more rigorous hiring process to prove themselves worthy of
being your child’s counselor and role model.
Our last promise is that your child
will grow in all the ways that make summer camp summer
camp. Making new friends, learning new skills, developing a
sense of themselves… Oh, let’s not forget the fun too!
When you come to camp this summer, we
pledge to be ready for your child. If your family would
